A Hidden Place: Guerilla Gardening

Hello Kittens! This past weekend I dug around in the dirt while it sprinkled little bits of almost-September rain. Sitting on the sidewalk listening to passing traffic and talking birds...

I wanted to work on a Hidden Place.

The lot behind our building is often forgotten,
full of trashy bits and broken furniture.

An unassuming jewel skirted by the neighbors scaly pickit fence.

We collected up cans and clawed around in the dirt.

Saving root bound herbs from a parking lot--
broke them up and made them new homes.

Planted smiling purple mums that are too tough for frost...

Made a secret shrine out of seashells.
She blinks slowly enough to watch our garden grow...

Chocolate mint, lemon balm, rosemary, chives and thyme--
soon to be tasty teas!
A Hidden Place for healing and rainbow rags. :)

Where is your hide away, Starlings?
